Research Interests

Quinoa Breeding

My research interest focuses on developing and advancing quinoa breeding populations that combine tolerance to salinity, drought, and heat with adaptation to German growing conditions. Key breeding objectives include early and uniform maturity, stable grain yield, compact plant architecture, desirable seed size and color, and low seed saponin content.
