My research focuses on how pathogens spread and transfer in animals and the environment. Microbiology and molecular biology methods help me study how these pathogens survive and move. I am interested in new ways to detect and control pathogens as well as in genetic engineering, especially its potential to help plants adapt to climate change. This passion also inspires my work in the student laboratory. There, I share my enthusiasm for biology and research with students from grades 8 to 13 through hands-on experiments that make science fun and engaging.
