Research Interests

Corina Mayer works since December 2018 with Jun. Prof. Dr. Sandra Schmöckel at the Department “Physiology of Yield Stability” (340k) as a technician. Her projects include molecular biology and the transformation of barley and other plants to characterize candidate genes. She is also managing the lab and taking care of general purchases in the laboratory. Corina Mayer previously worked as a practical instructor at a school for highly gifted children, and is still delighted to supervise students in internships. She also helps Bachelor and Master students to develop the necessary practical skills in the laboratory to finish their final theses well.
