Tabea Mengen, a PhD Student, gave a talk at the GRS Salt and Water Stress in Plants in Switzerland [09.06.26]
PhD student Tabea Mengen gave a talk about her research on salt tolerance mechanisms in quinoa and potential contributions to pre-breeding methodologies for quinoa at the 2026 Gordon Research Seminar on Salt and Water Stress in Plants in Les Diablerets, Switzerland. The seminar and following conference gave ample opportunity for networking in the international plant science community and to bring quinoa to the conversation as a key crop regarding research on abiotic stress tolerance.
Tabea was also elected as co-chair for the next GRS in 2028 and is excited to participate in the organisation of the seminar.
